The kids set to work in an attempt to save the old building. It won't be easy, with the main characters' family getting ready to move out of state. The hunt begins to find historical proof, evidence that will keep the theater standing. The Misfits roll up their sleeves and begin an adventure of a lifetime.
The Misfits are looking forward to a week of camping, with no idea of what waits for them. A ghost bear, a rumor of buried treasure and a huge problem to solve with the Native American camp host about to lose his property. This story had me spellbound. Lots of twists and turns. The ending turned out to be very different than how I was picturing it, which was a good surprise. The characters are unique, and their 'misfit' status makes them completely loveable. It was a joy at the end when they all came together, gave themselves a name, and are already looking into another adventure together. Can't wait to read the rest of the series!
I was lucky enough to be introduce to this book by one of the authors. I read it in less than a day. It is a great read for the young and the old and everyone in between.
